The Healing Hands Center is now located in a new
building not so far from were it was before (see here below). We are working to update this page, but as
Kathmandu has no street name and house number that are yet understood by
taxi drivers and the general population we will have to create our own
map. Kathmandu can really be a jungle and to find a place can be quite
challenging. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Former location The Healing Hands Center is in Maharajgunj, northeast Kathmandu and 5 kilometers from Tribhuvan International Airport. It is located about 250 meters away from the Russian Embassy, which is marked on most maps of Kathmandu. The taxi fare from the airport is around 300 NPR and the route is as follows: from the airport head for the Teaching Hospital in Maharajganj. Then turn left if you are approaching from the Ring Road, and follow the road leading to the Russian Embassy. About 150 meters after you turned left, and 250 meters before reaching the Russian Embassy, on your right you will see a house with Tibetan prayer flags. The gate is black.
